About my research
I am currently working to address climate-related stress in fruit crops, particularly water stress, heat and frost damage, and declining fruit quality. I am also developing early-warning and AI-based approaches to detect crop stress before visible symptoms appear, improve irrigation efficiency, and support more precise, climate-resilient orchard management.
My Webinar competition entry
can apple trees tell us when to irrigate
The webinar highlighted how interdisciplinary collaboration and emerging technologies such as AI, sensors, and imaging can help develop practical solutions for climate-resilient fruit production.
Let's connect
I am particularly interested in collaborations at the interface of fruit science, climate resilience, plant physiology, AI, sensing and precision agriculture. Key areas include early detection of crop stress, smart irrigation, hyperspectral and imaging-based fruit quality assessment, climate-risk prediction, digital twins for orchards, and innovative approaches to improve fruit resilience and quality under changing environmental conditions.
