About my research
My research focuses on developing smart, portable sensors that can detect important chemical and biological signals related to health, food safety, and the environment. I use nanomaterials and electrochemical sensing to identify very small amounts of toxic substances and disease-related biomarkers. A key goal of my work is to bridge the gap between sensitive laboratory measurements and practical, real-world testing. Rather than focusing only on detection limits, I aim to develop sensors that are selective, reliable in real samples, affordable, and suitable for portable devices. Ultimately, I hope to contribute to personalized health monitoring and early disease detection through accessible sensing technologies.
