About The Conference

Composite materials have large scale commercial applications in marine applications, aerospace, automotive, boating, defense, sporting goods, infrastructure, energy storage, biomedical etc. In the recent years, the development of new and improved composites has caused unlimited product development opportunities. This conference will provide a platform to young researchers to present their ideas and learn from the eminent scientists from the globe. The deliberations in conference will be in terms of oral as well as poster presentations. Besides this there will be keynote lectures by the leading experts in the field. Selected papers from the conference will be published in Scopus indexed Springer journal.

About IIT Mandi

Nestled in the Sivalik Range of the Himalayas, away from the bustle of the metropolis, IIT Mandi stands tall as a pillar of excellence combining the beautiful location of Kamand with its technological prowess creating an institution where brilliant creative people come together to learn, work and play. A few hours before the Himalayan resort Kullu in Himachal Pradesh, IIT Mandi has been established with the vision to be a leader in science and technology education, knowledge creation and innovation, in an India marching towards a just, inclusive and sustain- able society. IIT Mandi is a prominent institute among the eight new IITs started in 2008-2009 and is making strong strides to be among those which offer world class education. The main campus of IIT Mandi is situated at the forested hills of Kamand valley on the banks of the river Uhl, a tributary of river Beas. IIT Mandi is approximately 20 kilometer away from Mandi town. The usual travel route to Mandi is via Chandigarh from Delhi. The nearest airports to Mandi are Kullu (56 km), Dharamshalla (130 km) & Chandigarh (200 km).

Guidelines for Paper Submission

Conference accepts abstracts and/or full-length papers based on original research work. The book of abstracts, if accepted, will be published as web proceedings on the conference webpage. The selected full length paper will be published in Scopus indexed Springer proceedings.
In contrast, select papers from the conference will be published by Springer as a proceedings book volume. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published. Springer Nature does not charge any money for publication of Non-Open Access content. Abstracts/extended abstracts and short papers (less than 4 pages) are not considered for publication in Springer.
Abstracts should be limited to a maximum of 300 words including highlighting figures and tables (references are not counted in the word limit). Full-length papers should follow the journal template. In both abstracts and full-length papers, excluding references and citations, the amount of similarity to published sources should not be more than 15% and similarity to a single source should not be more than 1%.

Submit Paper

Registrations

At least one author of each accepted paper/abstract must register in order for the submitted work to be included in the proceedings. Registration Fees includes hostel accommodation, food (breakfast, lunch, snacks, conference refreshment and dinner) during conference days, conference gala-dinner, and registration kit:

Student Participants:	₹ 7,080/- (Including GST)
Delegates from Academia:	₹ 11,800/- (Including GST)
Accompany person:	₹ 5,900/- (Including GST)
Participants from Industry/Research Lab:	₹ 14,160/- (Including GST)
Participants from Abroad:	$ 200 (Including GST)

Participants may submit their accommodation preference while submitting their registration form. Hostel accomodation is complementary with the registration fee. Guest house accommodation will be booked on payment basis (if available) as per the institute norms. As we have a limited number of guest rooms, only a few people can be accommodated based on first come first serve.

The tariff of the guest house room is ₹1200/- per day per room. Participants may share their requirement for pre-booking on the registration form, and pay the guest house charge directly at guest house reception during check-in
