5th Inter IIT Tech Meet was held at IIT Kanpur from 25th March to 26th March, 2017. IIT Mandi ranked 4th in overall championship in the tech meet.

5th Inter IIT Tech Meet was held at IIT Kanpur from 25th March to 26th March, 2017. 9 teams from IIT Mandi participated in events like Product Exhibition, Human Computer Interaction, Stock Market Analysis, Software making event - Dashboard, Astronomy event. Total 12 IITs participated in the meet. Stock Market Analysis team comprising Priyansh Saxena, Siddhant Kumar, Abhigyan Khaund, Neha Muthiyan bagged the first position and Human Computer Interaction team comprising Kushagra Singhal, Abhay Singh Chauhan, Akash Sharma, Piyush Anand bagged the second position.
