IIT Mandi celebrates the 70th Independence Day,

Independence day: Flag Hoisting

On 15th August 2016, IIT Mandi celebrated the 70th Independence Day of India. Prof. Timothy Gonsalves, Director IIT Mandi, marked the start of the event by hoisting the national flag. It was followed by, the guard of honour by the security staff. Prof. Gonsalves addressed the gathering. Students and faculty members put up a themed cultural program, which included songs from different parts of India and a group dance. Col. Devang Naik (Retd.) rendered the vote of thanks.
