Inauguration of "The Lounge"

On Sunday 18th May, 2014, Director, Timothy A. Gonsalves inaugurated "The Lounge" in Kamand Mess premises. The initiative of building a new hub for cultural and technical activities was initiated collectively by Student Gymkhana, motivated by the Dean Students, Prof. B.S. Subramanian. Lounge will provide a place for the student community to discuss projects, display of Literary and Photography works, and for the practice sessions on Music, Dance and Drama.

With the inauguration of Lounge, Photography club demonstrated their Wall of Photography, Vivaan (Institute Magazine) presented their last two editions and Science & Technical Society (SNTC) demonstrated their projects in Intra-college technical exhibition, "Aavishkar" . Hopefully, coming up of the lounge will encourage creativity, foster regular interactions among students and help in improving student participation in various club activities.
