3D bioprinting has proven to be a valuable tool in our research, enabling innovative approaches across multiple fronts. For instance, thermoplastic pellets can be directly processed using 3D bioprinters equipped with specialised printheads to fabricate mechanically robust scaffolds. These durable structures are particularly promising for orthopaedic applications, where they provide customised support and promote tissue regeneration.
In addition to thermoplastics, 3D bioprinting also facilitates the fabrication of cell-laden hydrogels. By precisely incorporating living cells into biocompatible hydrogel matrices and utilising appropriate printheads, we can generate intricate, biologically active 3D constructs. These hydrogel-based scaffolds can further be functionalized with bioactive molecules, establishing an environment that supports bone tissue engineering and regeneration.

Micro-ultracentrifuge is a very crucial tool for separating particles based on size and density at very high speeds enabling efficient isolation of cellular components like organelle, proteins and extracellular vesicles. It provides high-resolution separation that standard centrifuges cannot achieve.

Confocal microscopy is a very powerful technique that uses a pinhole to block out-of-focus light to produce high-resolution images with enhanced depth for 3D visualization.

Ultrasound Imaging System is a powerful instrument which uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of internal body structures of animal models (mice). This instrument can also be used to scan other organs, including the heart, Kidney, liver and we can observe any pathological changes in the organs.
